A Road to Graduation

It is hard to believe that I am graduating this year after four years. I don't know where the time went for this amount of time. I entered as a freshmen to St. Mark's High School not knowing what the experience would be like in a high school. I was in phases 2 and 3 to start off my years in high school. Over time I made new friends and was looking forward to all of the excitement that was to come. That year I thought was going to go by slowly, but it was quicker than I thought that it would be. Then softmore year came and I phased up in some subjects and now was in phases 2,3,4. This was not a hard year with all of the phases that I now had. Many new friends were made and I got to know all of them better. This year went by faster than ever and the next thing that I knew I was a upperclass men in high school. This year I was in phases 3,4, and 5 after making more adjustments to the schedule that I had. These classes were tougher, but I was fine in them. I still managed to keep the 3.0. GPA. This year was fun and I knew so many people in all of the grades. Junior Prom was in the plans for the year and that was an excellent time that I had with everybody. Then at year came to an end and then I was considered a Senior high school. This was hard to the in becuase the first three years were gone and there was college to think about. The application process for college was long, but I was glad when it was all over. Now I realized that we would all split in different directions after the conclusion of this year. Now that I think about it we have one last of school and finals to take. Then Senior Prom will be attended and then we graduate a week after that. I am going to University of Delaware in the fall for Criminal Justice. I have always wanted to go to this school and I made that wish come true. It was the best experience of Senior year that I have had and I still can't believe that this is gone now.

Boston Trip Over Spring Break

I went to Boston over spring break to have a vacation and also went to go see a college with my brother. It had a lot of music and sound equipment that made me think about all of the work that I do with the theaters. It is such a nice city and it is an easy city to get around in. We got to go to the Yankee Camdle Factory in Deerfield, MA also while we were on this trip as we as well. There were so many different scents that came from all of the room and we spend a long time there. We also had a celebration with my Great Gramdmother for her 96th birthday on Easter. It was a fun time with her and all of the family that was there with her. It was a long haul up to MA because we had to deal with a major rain storm going up there. It was not exactly the best driving conditions because it was hard to see the road markings. I got to do some of the driving because my mom had gotten tired and we decided to spilt the driving time out. I got lucky by having good weather to drive in with not a lot of traffic for most of the trip. It got to be annoying when I was driving because a tractor trailer was driving in the fast lane in the mountain part of MA. But then the driver had moved over and everyone was going to get around him so they wouldn't hold up the long traffic backup that he created. This was a lot of fun and I had a great new experience in a new state that I have never been to before. It is a city with lots of action that is going on everyday. The trip went by fast and before you know it my birthday came when we got back from the trip and we celebrated it with family and friends. Then school came up on the Monday when we had arrived back in Wilmington, DE. It was such a short spring break this year and the whole year has been flying by.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Draggon

The purpose of the fighting scenes in the movie I think were to give an idea with what forces were acting on them this time. It also showed the different conflicts that were present during parts of the movie. For example, one of the fights had to do with a sword that was stolen. It was a sacred sword that meant a lot to one of the fighters of the pack that the Natives had with one another. Also, it gave some action to the movie to show what was going on to help lead the story that was in the background. Another thing was that it shows who the enemies are between the people. It also shows how the getting into the moment like they did with there religion showed how powerful they could be. It also gave a representation of some of the signs that are in the movie. One of the signs that was in movie was with the girl and the man that lived out in the desert. He had been searching for a long time for someone to be with. The fight scenes also gave some power versus power confrontations. One of the powers that was possessed by most of the fighters was the ability to fly. This had to be done through the spirit of The Lord and it enabled them to get into it. I also thought that the fights scenes gave more and more thrilling action to the movie with one fight to another as it it went along. This is what I think the purpose of the fighting scenes were in the movie

A wanted trip to Toronto, Canada

For my birthday this year I want to go to Toronto. I want to go see the Flyers play them this year and it would be cool to see the team play in a different arena. It so happens that they play on my exact birthday date which is April 4. I am a big Flyers fan and I enjoy seeing them play. It would be a new experience in Toronto because I have never been their before. It is also a great place to visit because there is a lot to do when you have down time before the game begins. I think that all of the fans are nice and that they wouldn't give the Flyers fans a hard time about being that particular to who you support. This year that can not happen because it is in the middle of the week and both of my parents work. It is also on one of the busiest days for my dad in the office seeing all of the patients. If it was on a weekend then we would probably end up going anyway to see them. I don't know what I am going to do this year for my birthday and how it is going to be celebrated. It is my eighteenth this year and their are more things that I am able to do that I wasn't able to do before.

The Philadelphia Flyers Season

The Flyers this year have had a rough start. They began the season 0-3 and I thought that they weren't going to do well this year. I judged a little bit and I did not give them time for the season to start since this year is a odd year with a shortened season. They started to make a comeback to improve their standings and got with in 6 points which is equivalent to 3 wins behind. It occurred to me that everything was going to be alright for the rest of the season. It turns out that things have gone south for the Flyers in the past two weeks and they have lost 4 of their last 5. I have a feeling that this  year that they are not going to make the playoffs. It has been a rough road for the year for them especially with the defense that they have been producing. I see it every time during the game play that they do not have the required defense. They fail big time getting up to the net and protecting the net with the goal tender to stop  the puck or at least block the shots. It goes on everyday that they play but they still are winning some times. I hope that they can change what they are doing and get more wins this year. They have definitely have had a rough start to the season that is more than half way over.

A Trip to Lake George

I took a trip to Lake George, New York to see my great-grandmother for a weekend. It takes a good six hours to get up there assuming that the traffic is somewhat light. There is a stop that we took that is at the half way point of the trip and it is similar to a truck stop. I like this stop because I get tired from sitting in the car for long periods of time. Then the trip continues to the beautiful lake. Her house is off a gravel road and it is a good ways back in their. Once we arrive I greet her and give her a hug and get settled into the house. It is a view on a lake that is pretty with boats going by and people doing various water sports. I decided that one of the days that I would go tubing with some friends that were next door that I knew. The other people that were there were going to go water skiing and wake boarding. When it came time for my turn with my cousin we got out into the water and hopped in to the tube. It started out where we could not get thrown out of the tube even with the high waves that the boat was producing. Then my cousin had enough and he intentionally rolled out of the tube. There was this one wave that I will never forget. We hit a waves that sent me flying up into the air. The funny thing was that I landed right back into the tube and everyone was wondering how that was possible. The last run that we had was the funniest. We hit a double wave that sent both of us flying in the air and I hit a weird angle that hurt when I hit the water. Then we got back into the boat to recover from that hit onto the water because we and enough. Then I got to see the other people go and that was lots of fun to watch. Then that weekend was over and we had to go back home because school was getting ready to start.

An adventure

The best thing that has ever happened to me was a house boating trip to Lake Powell, AZ. It is a beautiful place with high red rocks structures on either sides of the lake. The first day we got the houseboat and started a journey that would last a week. That night we found a resting spot after having fun with the jet skis that we rented also. The second day we had traveled further and found out that some of the best places to park the boat for the night may not be the best spots. On the third day we saw Rainbow Bridge which is a natural structure that has fromed over the years. it is more than seventy feet tall and has a spand of about two hundred and fifty feet. The third day we got stuck in the mud when we woke up that morning and we there all day until the late afternoon. A rescue boat came and got us out of the mud and we had to refuel the boat which happened to be right next to the place that we got stuck. That night we parked the boat again and had some relaxing time to spend with the family. The next morning on day four, we got stuck again but it was in a small rock that didn't let the boat move. A private boat came and got us out and we continued to the last stop which was perfect. The last night we stayed in the best spot of the week. It had a two foot section then it dropped of to eighty feet when you were in the back of the boat. Then a storm came in causing ones of the lines to have a lot of tension. My dad went out into the beach and piled sand on top of the anchor to give it more weight. The next morning the boat slid right off the place that we were parked when we pulled off. The last day was all travel back to the marina to return the boat. After we got to the marina we had a long trip back to the airport  in Phoenix, AZ. It was a long five hour drive back to the hotel before we got onto the plane the next day. On the way to the hotel we saw many storms that were in the area and many beautiful rock structures that we saw. I will miss the trip and I hope maybe some day our family can go back there again in the future. This is considered one of the best adventures that I have taken for a whole week.
